La Pasta

I was really baffled when I read some of the reviews people have left in the past, but I can hand on heart say this place is a little gem to have come across. The staff are friendly, both with customers and with each other, and the food was beautiful. Brilliant prices and great portions! I ordered the penne arrabiata, the mix veg on the side, and my partner ordered the la reine pizza. Everything was packed with flavour! We will definitely be back

A fun and relaxed little place with a warm, friendly atmosphere, but with character too. I ordered a mushroom pizza with extras of sun-dried tomato and Gorgonzola. The manager/chef (or whoever) is a great guy, and I was impressed to actually taste Gorgonzola throughout my pizza, as usually places are so tight these days. And the pizza had some splendid charring and crispiness, delicious! I'll definitely be back here again.

Had the loveliest food here and our waitress Laura was so lovely and kind. Pasta was amazing, definitely recommend!

Gorgeous find. Popped in for lunch and then coffee on my own. All seating are booths and the owner and chef were both attentive and I didn’t feel rushed. In fact they made me feel at home. Needless to say, the pizza was excellent, fresh and delicious. An enormous offering at such a good price point; to big for me to finish but it was perfect! Coffee - freshly made and steaming hot just as I asked for. Thank you - I will be coming back with family and friends or even just on my own to have some quiet time. Chilled music playing on the background and watching the world go by for a few hours. Thank you to the dynamic duo

Had a lovely meal great vegetarian cannaloni with generous portions and good wine with exceptional service and a very relaxing comfortable atmosphere with excellent service would return

Popped in for a late lunch on spec as passing through H&I. Had set lunch menu (10.60 it’s a steal!). Grilled fresh sardines and penne avioli. Both lovely, fresh and delicious. Washed down by a glass of Pinot Grigio which was most agreeable. Friendly service. What’s not to like! Sx.

La Pasta is a cozy and unique Italian restaurant by Highbury and Islington train station. I come with my friends and the staff are so lovely and helpful, and the food has never failed to delight us. The waitress, kiara, was so lovely and helped us all night.

Lovely pizza and pasta dinner with a couple beers before a gig at The Grace (just across the road). Nice chat with the owner who seemed a top bloke. Would recommend.
